At Vernafern, we believe dining should be an experience—something that excites, surprises, and lingers in your memory. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce Chef’s Table Wednesdays, an exclusive, reservation-only dining event where our chef crafts a one-of-a-kind menu just for you.
Each week, the Chef’s Table is inspired by the freshest seasonal ingredients, the chef’s creative mood, and the preferences of our guests. Whether you choose the 3-course menu ($45 per person) or the 6-course tasting experience ($85 per person), you’re in for a culinary adventure unlike any other.
What to Expect
- A Unique, Ever-Changing Menu – No two experiences will be the same. If you have dietary restrictions or certain “bugaboos” (foods you prefer to avoid), we’ll customize your meal to suit your tastes. Otherwise, you’ll leave everything in the chef’s hands and enjoy a surprise journey through flavors, techniques, and artistry.
- Exclusive Seating Options – Choose from a cozy table, an intimate counter seat with a front-row view of plating, or even an in-the-kitchen experience where you can witness the magic unfold up close.
Behind-the-Scenes Interaction – The chef will personally introduce each dish, sharing insights into the ingredients, inspiration, and preparation techniques. - Elevated Dining Moments – Your meal will always include at least 3 or 6 courses, but it may also feature delightful extras like amuse-bouche and palate cleansers, depending on the menu.
Reservations & Details
- Book by Monday or Tuesday for the upcoming Wednesday seating. Same-day reservations may be accommodated, depending on availability and dietary restrictions.
- Staggered Seating – You won’t be tied to a single seating time. We’ll space out reservations to give each guest a relaxed, intimate experience.
- Dietary Restrictions – Please note any allergies or preferences when booking your reservation. If your needs are complex, feel free to email us in advance so we can create something special for you.
- No Last-Minute Changes – Because our chef begins prepping ingredients 1-2 days in advance (think marinating, brining, curing, and smoking), we cannot accommodate changes made within 48 hours of your reservation.
- BYOB Friendly – Bring your favorite bottle to pair with your meal and enhance the experience.
- Deposit Required – A $20 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your reservation.
